Greek's Pizzeria has been open for 30 years. Owner Andy Goth is looking to expand his business methods used at the pizzeria to his new tanning salon, Sunsations Tanning. Goth has owned Greek's Pizzeria for six years. During that time, multiple businesses in the Village have opened and closed for many reasons, both legal and financial.
People are starting to take a little more notice of the Ball State University football team this year. An event-record 1,766 people walked around Scheumann Stadium on Sunday afternoon meeting this year's Cardinals' football team at Ball State's Fan Jam. The Fan Jam - an annual event hosted by the athletics department for about five years - gave people the chance to meet and interact with the Ball State players and coaches.

As Ball State University's greek community celebrates the 90th year of greek life on campus, it will be making a few changes to some time-honored traditions. Cory Schneider, Interfraternity Council vice president of public relations, said a big change was made this year in the rebranding of the greek logo, colors and tagline.

The newly renovated north entrance of the L.A. Pittenger Student Center and its new dining facility will reopen just in time for the beginning of the Fall Semester, after more than a year of construction. Greg Graham, interim director of facilities planning and management at Ball State University, said although most of the renovations to the almost 50-year-old building consisted of upgrading mechanical and electrical systems, there are also many visible changes.
The Ball State University women's golf team is looking forward to their new season with a surge of confidence. "Match any of those players right now and they are higher right now because of the level of expertise on the roster," coach Katherine Mowat said of her expectations of the upcoming season.
Despite losing five players on its roster due to graduation in May, the Ball State University men's golf team still expects to have a successful fall season. With only one senior, Ross Cosat, coach Mike Fleck is hoping all his players step up and replace the leadership lost by those who graduated.
As the Fall Semester welcomes a new freshman class, Ball State University will also introduce a new recreational area for on-campus residents. The newly-renovated area of green space can be experienced between Noyer Complex and the surrounding residence halls on the east side of campus.

The Ball State University soccer team started its 2009 season with a 2-1 victory in an exhibition match against Xavier University on Monday. Two early second-half goals for the Cardinals helped the team take control of the match. The two teams used the first half to break themselves into the first game of the season.
