Atrium goers eat in the dark

It's lights out for students eating dinner in the Atrium. The electricity is out in the eating area of the food court in the Art and Journalism Building, but food service and cash registers are still working fine. Atrium General Manger Rod Brooks said the lights go out from time to time, but it is a simple fix.

OUR VIEW: Eat up

It's OK to eat the food. The Star Press reported Saturday the university had gone years without inspecting its dining facilities. This is only partially true, and the school is not putting its students at risk. Ball State University's continual temperature checks for cleanliness and temperature consistencies has kept it in compliance with the Indiana health code.

Hubbard stuffed Central Michigan center Brandon Ford's dunk attempt at the 13:14 mark in the second half, and then ran the length of the court and was fed for a soaring finger roll at the 13:06 mark to give the Cardinals a 36-27 lead against the Chippewas.

OUR VIEW: Imprecise

Three groups of students who want to govern the student body have had their campaign platforms available for review since Monday. Some platform items can be accomplished while others are unlikely, superficial promises. Cardinal Collaboration's platform has several vague items that will be difficult for SGA to address.
