Pilot killed in plane crash identified

The pilot that died Wednesday afternoon in a plane crash near Muncie has been identified, according to the Indiana State Police. David J. Eyde, 43, of Ada, Mich., was identified through dental records by Randolph County Corner Duane Petry, according to the press release.

After the road victory Sunday, the Ball State University soccer team is hoping the confidence will carry over to this weekend, starting Friday afternoon. "We played extremely well in the second half of the match Sunday," coach Michael Lovett said. "We want that confidence we played with and how well we played to carry over Friday.


CBS employee pleads not guilty in Letterman plot

NEW YORK - A CBS News employee has pleaded not guilty to trying to blackmail David Letterman for $2 million in a plot that spurred the TV host to acknowledge sexual relationships with female staffers on his show. Robert J. Halderman entered his plea as he was arraigned on an attempted grand larceny charge Friday in a Manhattan court.

29th annual Bed Races will be Friday at noon
