The fourth blocked kick of the season for Ohio University set up a 52-yard field goal as time expired in the first half and gave the visitors a 9-7 lead.

Ball State took a 17-12 lead on Ohio University with just under six minutes to play, but after Jeremy Hill caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from Tanner Justice on a trick play, he was lost in the moment. Hill appeared to slap the ball back onto the field and was flagged for excessive celebration.
