The L.A. Pittenger Student Center Building has been undergoing renovations since last August. The most recent addition to the building is an electronic sign on the corner of University and McKinley avenues. Classes were interrupted at some Ball State University buildings Tuesday morning after a transformer at the Tillotson St. substation was damaged. Jim Lowe, director of engineering and operations, said the cause of the shortage of power that came from the transformer is unknown.
