SWINE FLU CHRONICLES: This stinks

I can't say whether I came in contact with a sick person or I touched the same door knob or hand rail as one. It doesn't really matter now. For the past four and a half days I haven't left my house because I've displayed every symptom of what people are calling H1N1 or swine flu.I woke up Thursday feeling pretty well. I got home from the newsroom relatively early and I wasted only about an hour and a half of the time I could've been sleeping by playing video games.

CALIFORNIA KIRCHUBEL: New movie highlights Halloween

In my opinion, this weekend is the most anticipated weekends of the year.First off, it's Halloween so we're all excited about that — costumes, candy, and very late nights — but one thing about this weekend that I have been anticipating for almost two years is the release of the long overdue sequel to the cult classic, Boondock Saints. For those of you who haven't seen the first movie, you have a week to do it before the second one comes out. If you have had the fortunate pleasure of seeing this masterpiece get ready for the ride of your life.
