"She Said Shred" art exhibit

Most of Causey's work is acrylic, with a few oil paintings mixed in. Causey works out of her home in Broad Ripple in a "teeny-tiny, closet-sized" studio. She said she sometimes works on two or three paintings at a time and constructs abstract paintings inspired by her teaching styles. "She Said Shred" will have its opening reception at 5 p.m. at Gordy's. Causey will speak at 6 p.m. about the convergence of music and art in her work. Her exhibit will run until March 31.

Spring Break in Muncie

Spring Break can be a magical time for Ball State University students. Midterms are over, classwork is put on hold and a week away from snow-covered Muncie is finally a possibility. However, there are always those students who have job obligations, no money or simply nowhere else to go. Indiana will be their only destination for Spring Break. From Saturday to March 15, they will have to make the best of what the area has to offer.
