Shattering stereotypes

It started with a crash, and from there things never slowed down. As fast as the sound echoed through the gymnasium, the wheelchaired players on the court were focusing on the next play and wheeling the volleyball down the court. For someone who never witnessed a quad rugby match, like Kurt Foster the sound was enough to catch him off-guard.




LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Metered parking rips off students

I understand that BSU Parking Services exists for a reason and tickets are a necessary evil because of limited parking on campus, but something needs to be done about metered parking. I park in the McKinley parking garage everyday and I pay for the metered parking. Usually everything works out just fine, but unfortunately, I recently discovered what I considered a major issue with Parking Services.



BASEBALL: Vitek returns to ace form at Ohio

Kolbrin Vitek shutout the Bobcats for seven innings, allowing just two hits for his first victory of the season. That game, combined with him going 6-for-12 with three runs and two RBIs in the series, netted Vitek national player of the week honors from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.


OUR VIEW: Jumping on the bandwagon

As soon as the news broke that attorneys general in 13 states had joined forces in a lawsuit against the U.S. departments of Treasury, Labor and Health and Human Services, there was more than one person who wondered how long it would take Indiana to get involved.
