MEN'S TENNIS: Ball State swept at No. 11 Illinois

Eduardo Pavia and Dalton Albertin secured the lone win for the Cardinals at No. 1 doubles, winning 8-6. Doubles has been a concern all year for the team, but the duo has been consistent in their play.

A senior at Brigham Young University, Mark Jensen, is the founder ofAltus Poles and the winner of Ball State University's Enterprise 8business plan competition, which as held at John E. Worthen Friday.



BASEBALL: No. 10 Louisville makes quick work of Ball State

After a slow start in Friday's series opener, Louisville (17-1) started quickly against starter Cal Bowling (0-3) and defeated Ball State 8-3. The hosts scored five unearned runs in the second inning, and never looked back.


FOOTBALL: MiQuale Lewis officially cleared to play in 2010

Ball State announced Friday that the NCAA awarded Lewis a medical redshirt, replacing his shortened 2007 season. The tailback played in only four games that year before tearing his ACL in Ball State's loss at the University of Nebraska.


Ball State students 'Take the Walk'

Ball State students participate in 'Take the Walk' — a barefoot walk around campus — to raise awareness for people in third-world countries who can't afford shoes.



BASEBALL: Ball State upends No. 10 Louisville

Ball State defeated No. 10 Louisville 5-1 in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader. Reliever Perci Garner (1-0) threw four innings, allowing one run for the victory.
