Indiana activists urge feds to approve mercury limits

INDIANAPOLIS — Three of Indiana's environmental groups urged the federal government Friday to move quickly to approve proposed regulations intended to cut industrial mercury emissions and said the rules would reduce Indiana residents' exposure to the toxic metal.

Thousands volunteer to help with 2012 Super Bowl

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Organizers preparing for the upcoming Super Bowl in Indianapolis said they're elated that 13,000 people have volunteered to help with visitors and events surrounding the game.
