Robin Williams dies at age 63

Robin Williams, the Academy Award winner and comic supernova whose explosions of pop culture riffs and impressions dazzled audiences for decades and made him a gleamy-eyed laureate for the Information Age, died today in an apparent suicide. 


SOFTBALL: Team adds 2 transfers for 2015

The Ball State softball team has signed transfers Rachel Houck and India Steward for the 2015 season, said head coach Tyra Perry.“We are very excited to add Rachel and India to our program,” Perry said in a statement.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: 2 Cardinals chosen to play on European Tour

Two sophomores on the Ball State women's basketball team have been selected to play for Global Sports Academy on a European tour.Renee Bennett and Haley Richardson will participate in five games over nine days against teams from Belgium, Holland and France.Global Sports Academy has arranged tours for teams since 1991 to help promote international competition.


VOLLEYBALL: Team honored for academic performance

The Ball State women’s volleyball team earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award for the 2013-14 season.Ball State was one 134 NCAA Division I programs to receive the award, a new record.The award honors collegiate and high school volleyball programs that show excellence in the classroom.
