Nike self-tying shoes become reality

Nike joined the "Back to the Future Day" commotion by releasing their own pair of self tying shoes, as featured in the movie Back to the Future II. Called the "Nike Mag," the shoes fulfill another futuristic promise as predicted by the films. Nike contacted Michael J.

Planetarium puts on feature Halloween show

This time of year, there won't be a typical astronomy show at the Charles W. Brown Planetarium. Instead, viewers can dive into the history of Halloween and how it was first recognized by the direction of the stars 2,500 years ago.

Weather contributes to Ball State home loss

Today’s weather provided a significant advantage for whichever team was playing with Scheumann Stadium’s westbound wind at their backs in the Cardinals’ 23-21 loss to Central Michigan. Head coach Pete Lembo said it's something his team practices with.

Ball State vs. Central Michigan - Quarter Updates

First Quarter The Central Michigan Chippewas started with the ball and drove down the field with ease against the struggling Ball State defense in less than three minutes. Central Michigan's quarterback, Cooper Rush capped off the six-play, 75-yard drive with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Corey Willis. Ball State took over at the 23-yard line, but could not do anything with it.

An influx of families is expected on campus for Ball State’s Family Weekend starting Oct. 23. Every fall the university invites students, faculty, staff and their families to campus for a weekend of festivities that include Halloween astronomy, Rock and Bowl, a 5K run/walk, a football game, a golf outing and much more.  But what do students think of Family Weekend?
