Sunshine and warm weather on its way

Tonight: Rain showers will continue overnight as the low pressure system passes overhead, but showers should remain scattered, allowing for some dry time for any early morning commutes. A flood watch remains in effect for Jay, Blackford, and Grant counties until 2am Friday.

Tomorrow: Rain will be widespread through the late morning, but should finally begin to clear out as we head into the afternoon and evening hours. Winds will still remain gusty from the WNW at 15-20mph throughout the day.

7-Day Forecast: As the rain moves out late friday, beautiful spring weather will take its place, with high temperatures soaring into the mid and upper 70s by Monday, with our first real shot at 80 degrees being possible for the first time this year. While some shower chances are possible Tuesday and into the middle of the work week, sunshine and warm weather should remain throughout, with temperatures remaining ten to fifteen degrees above seasonal averages.
