Ball State falls to Buffalo, winless in the two-game weekend series.

Ball State women’s volleyball falls to Buffalo in five sets, falling to 0-2 on the weekend. In both losses, the Cardinals were beaten in 5 sets. 

Ball State moves to 9-2 in the Mid-American Conference and 12-10 overall. 

It was a back-and-forth game the whole time, with neither team winning two sets in a row. 

The Cardinals were up 2-1 with a chance to win it in the fourth set, but lost 22-25, sending it into the fifth set. 

Buffalo was able to seal the victory in the fifth and final set, winning 15-12. 

Redshirt freshman middle blocker Aniya Kennedy led the team in kills with 23. 

Ball State sits behind Western Michigan (11-0 MAC) in MAC West rankings. 

The Cardinals will take on Kent State Oct. 27 at home for Alumni Night at 6 p.m.
