Warm temperatures for the weekend with storms possible overnight Saturday

Tonight: Expect a fairly cold night tonight before a warmup into the early morning hours Saturday. Expect the low to be around 40 degrees with winds form the southeast at about 5 to 10 mph with mainly partly cloudy skies dominating the area.

Weekend: Saturday is expected to be a nice but breezy day. The day will start off as partly cloudy, then become mostly sunny throughout the day. The high will be around 70 degrees with winds from the Southwest at about 10-20 mph, with gusts to about 30 mph. Saturday night is expected to become cloudy with a chance for thunderstorms throughout the early Sunday morning hours. Saturday night's low will be around 56 degrees. We could see totals of .25 inches or greater, especially with areas that experience thunderstorms. Sunday starts off with cloudy skies, clearing after the early-to-mid morning hours. the high will reach into the mid 60s with mostly sunny skies. It is still expected to be breezy with winds from the southwest at 15-20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph. Sunday night could bring even more precipitation across the area with precipitation totals of about .5 inches or greater with a ow of around 40 degrees.

7-Day: With a warm Saturday and warm Sunday, the system that will brings rain Sunday and Monday will bring a cool down for the rest of the week. The temperatures will range in the mid-to-upper 40s to the lower 50s, so still quite nice compared to recent weeks. Spring has sprung... for now.
