Former Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler will appear in court Nov. 10

MUNCIE, Ind. (NewsLink) -- Former Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler will go to court on Nov. 10 at the U.S. District Court in Indianapolis.

This hearing is set just short of two years following his arrest by the FBI in his Muncie home. Tyler was arrested on November 18, 2019. He was later indicted for theft of government funds.

Tyler is accused of accepting $5,000 in exchange for influencing the award of contracts. The hearing is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
