Prompted in part by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration fully authorizing the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for use Aug. 23, Ball State is opening pop-up vaccine locations during the month of September that will offer all three types of available COVID-19 vaccines.
In addition to the on-campus vaccine clinic in the Health Professions Building, the university has partnered with Open Door Health Services to host several vaccine sites on campus. Open Door Health Services vaccine sites will offer all three vaccines — Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson — at the following locations:
L.A. Pittenger Student Center – Multipurpose Room and Activity Room (lower level)
- Sept. 3, 10 and 24: 8-11 a.m.
Emens Auditorium
- Sept. 13, 20 and 27: 2-6 p.m.
- Sept. 17: 8-11 a.m.
Open Door Health Services vaccine sites will accept walk-ins and no registration is needed. Those wishing to receive vaccines must bring a photo ID, but health insurance information is not required. Vaccines are offered at no cost.
There are several sources of information about the COVID-19 vaccines. The university encourages students to learn more about Ball State’s effort to vaccinate students and COVID-19 vaccines, as well as frequently asked questions, at the Ball State Vaccinate website. Once students are fully vaccinated, they should report their vaccine status by completing the COVID-19 Vaccine Completion Form.

Delta will be on the road for its next contest against Hoosier Heritage Conference rival Shelbyville April 23 at 6 p.m. Muncie Central will travel to Muncie Burris for its next matchup, also April 23 at 6 p.m.
