Ball State esports has officially become a recognized varsity sport, but they also have grown in numbers ever since this pandemic has started.

Nate Valdez, Ball State e-sports president, discussed how excited he was too be able to get their own room and the growth they have experienced during this pandemic.

He even would go on to say that they actually have had better attendance doing virtual meetings and tryouts rather than the in-person things they used to do, but he did say that he does miss the team building aspect of being able to get together to practice and watch tournaments live together as a team.
