Rinard Greenhouse holds free meditation for students

MUNCIE, Ind.(NewsLink) - Trying to balance school and all other activities can be challenging for some students.

The Counseling Center has offered to help students deal with stress by hosting meditation groups that are free for Ball State students.

The first Tuesday of every month they host meditation circles.

Tuesday, the Counseling Center came to Dr. Joe & Alice Rinard Orchid Greenhouse. The students meditated and relieved all their stresses with the guide of a doctoral grad student, Courtney Eddy- Richardson.

One student who participated, Grace McCormick, said that meditating really helps her get away from all the stress that school brings.

If you are interested in going to the counseling center you make an appointment by (765) 285-1736. If you want to visit the greenhouse it is open from 8a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
