Ball State closes recreational facilities after disaster emergency declaration

In light of Thursday's joint disaster emergency declaration by Delaware County and the City of Muncie, Ball State announced it will be closing all its recreational and sports facilities effective immediately until further notice.

These closures include the Jo Ann Gora Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Ball Gymnasium, Lewellen Pool, Worthen Arena Concourse and all athletic facilities.

Members of the Ball State community who need to retrieve belongings stored in lockers can contact Ben Peak, director of recreation services, via email.
