Camp Kesem is a free camp for kids who's parents are battling cancer, 2020.

MUNCIE, Ind. (NewsLink) -- Camp Kesem is giving you the opportunity to surprise a loved one this Valentines Day while donating to a good cause.

For $4 you can send a potato-gram with a personalized message to a loved one. All proceeds go to sending children who's parents are battling cancer to camp.

"The camp is for children who's parents are affected by cancer. So if it's a parent who's deceased from cancer or currently battling cancer, that's the population we're reaching out to," said Camp Kesem Volunteer Evan Harvey.

This is the programs second year at Ball State. Last year they were able to donate $600 thanks to 150 people sending potato-grams.

The potatoes are delivered on Valentines Day anywhere on Ball State's campus or the surrounding Muncie area.
