Getting Back To Your Roots

A restaurant made with college students in mind and Indiana roots at heart.

 SPONSORED

I graduated from Ball State in 1995 and opened Scotty's Brewhouse in 1996.  I sold Scotty's in 2016 and the company that bought it filed for bankruptcy in 2018.  I came back to my ROOTS, my alma mater, my hometown and my original restaurant location to bring something special back to Ball State:  Roots Burger Bar.

I think it is important to never forget your ROOTS.  Don't forget where you came from and all those people that supported you along your journey.  I hope you will now come and support me in my 2nd home, a 2nd time.

Smashed burgers have their original ROOTS coming from Indiana.  But, we don't just offer these tasty, crispy, smashed delicacies:  wraps, salads, chicken sandwiches, wings and more all await you.  And, I wanted to make it fit into a college budget - in fact, every Thursday is Ball State day where you can get a burger and fries for $5 or take 10% off the entire menu with an ID.  And, we accept CARDINAL CASH.  Every Monday, dine in and buy one order of regular wings, boneless wings or cauliflower wings and get the 2nd order FREE!

We also offer delivery through our website, order online today!

Come by for great drink specials, $7.99 lunch specials, ALL AGES WELCOME, comfortable & friendly service AND join us for our sponsorship of Ball State Basketball:  every time an opponent misses 2 free throws in a row, you get FREE tots for missed shots!  We also have our burgers available at all home games.  And, if you want to be a part of a Burger Eating Contest at the Dec. 2 game and win free food for a year, follow our social media @RootsBurgerBar on Instagram, Twitter & Facebook.

Never Forget Your Roots!
