MUNCIE, Ind. (NewsLink) — A local resident started the first Muncie’s Skele-fun Decorating Contest.

The Crigger family started decorating their house three years ago, and after one day, their kids wanted the skeletons to do more; and Sara Crigger, made that happen.

“Every single day; it’s kinda like an elf on the shelf. So for the month of October we switch them up. For today, they are celebrating a birthday. Earlier in the month, one of them had a baby, so  we've had a lot of people congratulating the skeleton baby."

The skeletons they put up are not only spooksters, but they are also jokesters! They also tee-peed their yard!

People all over the neighborhood stop by to see what those silly skeletons are up to each day because…

"Everybody loves it!,”

The Criggers realized how much the community loved it, so they decided to start the contest. Everyone is welcome to join the running of the contest until Saturday, Oct. 26. All of the houses will be judged Sunday for the funniest, scariest  and most creative.  The winners of each category will win a $100 in cash.
