A hazardous materials spill was reported northwest of the intersection of Tillotson Avenue and McGalliard Road in a campus-wide email Thursday.
Ball State's University Police Department requested people to avoid the area northwest of the intersection of Tillotson Avenue and McGalliard Road and the area around the Quality Inn and Suites on Everbrook Lane Due to a gas leak, according to a Ball State alert sent out around 9:50 p.m.
An all clear was issued a little after 10:30 p.m., via Ball State's text and email alerts, allowing the resuming of normal activities.

Azzarello was extinguished and rushed away by emergency services. He is in critical condition at Weill Cornell Medicine - Burn Center, according to a press conference held by the New York Police Department (NYPD).
