MUNCIE, Ind.(NewsLink) - Tuesday, the Muncie Street Department took on the job to convert Washington St. from a one way street to a two way traffic zone.
After listening to the residents of the area, Mayor Dennis Tyler and his team conjured up a plan to improve the way of living in Muncie. Fearing more head-on collisions, the project was put into action.
Construction lasted around 2 consecutive days, ending Thursday morning.
Hoping for more plans in the future, Mayor Dennis encouraged the next administration to continue the amazing tradition to uplift Muncie.
