Tonight: We will have a slightly warmer night with a low of around 63 degrees with Partly Cloudy skies. Winds will be light out of the southwest.
Tomorrow: We will see the heat and humidity return with highs in the upper 80's with clouds increasing in the afternoon hours. It will feel uncomfortable with the humidity settling in, and this will bring our heat index values into the low to potentially mid 90's. Be sure to stay hydrated and take extra breaks if doing any activities tomorrow afternoon.
Next Rain Chances: With the heat and humidity expected to settle in through the middle part of the week, rain chances will begin to rise. Wednesday afternoon could see isolated showers and/or a thunderstorm. Thursday has a lower chance for rain, but an isolated shower or thunderstorm is still in play. Our best chance for rain looks to be on Friday with a cold front that is currently set to push through the area in the afternoon hours. This will once again give us the chance for showers and thunderstorms. We get a break from the rain heading into the weekend.
7-Day Forecast: Temperatures begin to slightly fall back on Friday and we look to slip into the upper 70's for Saturday before returning to the 80's by Sunday. Ball State Family Weekend will be occurring this Friday through Sunday. After the rain chances on Friday, conditions will be nice and mild. Ball State's football team will have their next home game on Saturday, and it will be a very nice afternoon to get out there and enjoy it! Dry conditions continue into the new work week next week with slightly above average temperatures.
