A car accident occurred around 2:50 p.m., Monday at the intersection of Bethel Avenue and Tillotson Avenue.
The two SUVs involved in the accident had significant damages to the front of their cars.
Delaware County EMS and police officers from Muncie Police Department and Ball State University Police were at the scene.
Officers on the scene were diverting traffic going west on Bethel Avenue to turn right on to Tillotson Avenue, holding up the traffic on Bethel Avenue for about 30 minutes.
Tow trucks removed the two vehicles at around 3:25 p.m.

Delta will be on the road for its next contest against Hoosier Heritage Conference rival Shelbyville April 23 at 6 p.m. Muncie Central will travel to Muncie Burris for its next matchup, also April 23 at 6 p.m.
