Planning for Valentine’s Day is not always the easiest job, especially if you live on campus and you don’t know Muncie very well.
To help, below is a list of businesses and places on and off campus offering specials for the holiday.
At the Comfort Zone in Woodworth Commons, Ball State Dining is offering a Valentine’s Day meal from 5-9 p.m. The meal includes a choice of an entrée, two sides, a dessert and a small beverage for $8.60. Students can choose from entrées such as a prime culotte steak with Béarnaise sauce or shrimp macaroni and cheese for the Valentine’s Day meal.
Starbucks is offering its limited time Cherry Mocha for Valentine’s Day. The mocha drink includes cherry-flavored syrup with red, pink and brown sprinkles on top.
David Owsley Museum of Art
DOMA will host its event, “Music in the Museum: Impressions of Love” from 5-8 p.m. in the Sculpture Court. Musicians Joel and Becca Braun will be performing love songs inspired by the exhibition, “Impressions of Love: J. Ottis and Winifred Brady Adams, a Ball State University Centennial Exhibition.”
The Muncie Mall will be offering the opportunity for community members to share who and what they love with the event, “Post Your Love.” Post-it notes and markers will be available for anyone to post their love on the wallscape beside the store, Buckle. This event will be available Feb. 1 to 14 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Art Mart will be offering its annual 25 percent off on all red items. The discount includes items in the red family, such as pink or purple. The sale lasts from Feb. 1 to 14.
Outback Steakhouse will have its four-course Aussie Celebration for Two special from Feb. 13 to 17. The meal includes a blooming onion, two salads, two entrées and a cheesecake dessert.
Chick-Fil-A will offer nuggets in heart-shaped containers until Feb. 28. Checking for availability and participating restaurants is encouraged.
Vera Mae’s Bistro
Vera Mae’s Bistro will offer its special Valentine's Day menu, in place of its regular options. Reservations must be made online or by calling 765-747-4941.
