A heat wave has been in effect in most of the Eastern half of the United States for the past week. This has prompted above average temperatures and summer like conditions for the start of the Fall season. Muncie broke four records in the past five days.
Expect to have mostly clear conditions tonight with the low dropping down to 64 in Muncie. Winds will stay calm for another above average night.
Another hot and muggy day in store for your Tuesday. We will start out the day in the mid 60s and end it with a high of 90 degrees with mostly sunny skies.
Warm temperatures continue for Wednesday with highs in the 80s before and cool down to normal fall-like temperatures towards the end of the week. Rain chances increase slightly for Wednesday, but we stay mainly dry throughout the extended forecast. The weekend forecast is looking very mild and average for this time of year as we approach October.
