Construction contractors plan to close State Road 332 (McGalliard Road) entrance ramp to Interstate 69 South for up to a month starting next week.

The closure will enable bridge construction south of Exit 241 interchange.

One left lane of I-69 South will be temporarily diverted across the median to share the northbound side of the interstate. Opposing directions of traffic are separated by concrete barriers.

Starting at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 5, the southbound entrance ramp will be closed and the right lane of I-69 South will be shifted toward the left.

During the closure, traffic will be directed north on I-69 to U.S. 35/State Road 28 Exit 245 to return southbound on I-69.

After the 30-day ramp closure, crews will remove temporary pavement from the median.

Work is expected to be complete in November.
