MAC swimming and diving championships

t-1. University of Buffalo — 72 points

t-1. Missouri State — 72 points

t-3. Eastern Michigan — 62 points

t-3. Southern Illinois University — 62 points

5. Miami (Ohio) — 60 points

t-6. University of Evansville — 50 points

t-6. Ball State — 50 points

Ball State men's swimming and diving finished day one of the Mid-American Conference Championships tied for sixth place.

In the 200-yard medley relay, the team finished in sixth place with a season-best time of 1:32.01.  The team consisted of freshman Ben Andrew, sophomore Tyler Cullen and seniors Bradley Ridge and Austin Green.

In the 800-yard freestyle relay, the Cardinals placed seventh with a season-best time of 6:54.76.  Leading off the relay was senior Tanner Barton. Barton was followed by Andrew, freshman Logan Ackley and junior Banistre Lienhart.

Tomorrow's finals meet starts at 7 p.m. in Carbondale, Illinois.
