Get the Led Out: The American Led Zeppelin is a group of professional musicians who pay tribute to the 1960s English rock band Led Zeppelin.

The group will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday in John R. Emens Auditorium.

The group does not intend to be an impersonating act, but rather a group of musicians who started off as fans first and now strive to keep the band’s music alive.

While the original band consisted of four members, this tribute band consists of six:

Paul Sinclair — lead vocals, harmonica

Paul Hammond — electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin

Jimmy Marchiano — electric and acoustic guitars, vocals

Phil D’Agostino — bass guitar, vocals

Adam Ferraioli — drums, percussion

Andrew Lipke — keyboards, electric and acoustic guitars, vocals, percussion

Friday's performance will also feature guest singer Diana DeSantis.

The group has toured nationally and has performed at major nightclubs and packed venues across the country. The group performs a special acoustic set with favorites such as “Tangerine” and the “Battle of Evermore” in its original instrumentation with DeSantis.

While the group continues to remain true to the essence of the rock band, it uses its ability to incorporate its own unique twist to the music. By using its skills with many different instruments, the band aims to bring high energy and an equal love for the group that the audience shares.
