Ball State women's swim and dive looked to continue the success from last week’s win as they traveled the Illinois State, but it was the Redbirds that won, 172-128.

Illinois State dominated from the beginning, winning the first four events. Ball State junior Amanda Kedzierski broke the streak by taking first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:04.90 and broke the pool record for that event.

Senior Jessica Extine finished first in the 50-yard freestyle and sophomore Elizabeth Madison won the 500-yard freestyle.

Freshmen Rachel Bertram and Rachel Smallwood and sophomore Courtney McKeen finished first, second and third in both the 1m and 3m dive.

The Cardinals travel to Allendale, Michigan to take on Grand Valley State in their next meet at 1 p.m. Nov. 19.
