Naughty Dog reveals PS4 Pro enhancements for 'The Last of Us Remastered' and 'Uncharted 4'

by Lucas Miller Fans of Naughty Dog who also happen to own the recently-released PS4 Pro have a lot to look forward to playing the latest releases from the studio.  The studio announced that two of their most popular titles, The Last of Us Remastered and Uncharted 4, will be receiving day one PS4 Pro support. The enhancements include an increased resolution that allows for “more detail in the textures” along with “smoother, sharper edges that better distinguish characters, effects, and the environment.” Players will also be able to play The Last of Us Remastered at 60 frames-per-second, up from 30. Both games will also offer HDR support, which will “drastically [expand] the range of brightness in both games.” The HDR support is also coming to the original PS4 versions of both games, so players who haven’t made the jump to the new console will still reap the benefits. Finally, players will be able to use the games’ photo mode to capture 4K screenshots, as well as stream or capture gameplay at a higher quality. Players will be able to stream gameplay at 1080p and 60 frames-per-second, and capture in-game highlights at 30 frames-per-second.
