It's another beautiful day in Delaware County as we expect to climb to a high of 82 degrees today which is close to the record high of 84 set back in 1982. Hurricane Matthew is the big national focus as it continues to make a northwest path up the east coast. So far, the main threat has been rain and hurricane force winds. Matthew will continue to track up towards South Carolina before heading back out into the Atlantic Ocean. Closer to home, Muncie can expect the chance for a few pop up showers later this evening, but then major clearing as the rest of the weekend and the start of the next work week looks sunny. Temperatures will remain in the 70s for the majority of the week, but lows will begin to drop down into the 40s and 50s, so light jackets for the morning may be needed.
