Cooler temperatures ahead for fall break

MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) -- Temperatures for the week have been above average for this time of year, and that is going to stick around for a few more days. Unfortunately for us, the end of the work week is bringing a slight rain chance for us here in Muncie. Friday night a cold front is going to work its way through out area, and with that colder temperatures are in store for the weekend and most of fall break. That rain chance is going to linger into Saturday morning, but the skies will clear up on Saturday, and we will see plenty of sunshine on Sunday. The weekend high temperatures are expected to be in the mid 60s with lows creeping down into the upper 40s. The sunshine sticks around for Monday and temperatures will begin to climb. Tuesday we will see a 20% chance of rain, but high temperatures will be in the low 70s, and will hang around there through Tuesday and into Wednesday. For more weather information follow us on Twitter @NLIWeather.
