With all the options to shop locally in Muncie, one doesn't need to look far to find fresh meat and produce for a holiday dinner.
Lahody Meats is a grocery store and a butcher shop in one. Owner Ron Lahody believes that his store's combination of quality meat and service is why customers choose him over chain stores like Wal-Mart or Meijer.
“I come here for the quality meats and the good prices,” a loyal customer said.
When people go to Lahody’s, they aren’t necessarily buying meats from Muncie.
“We get our meats from Nebraska, Missouri and also Delphi, Indiana,” Lahody said.
