Cooler temperatures dominated throughout the weekend, but temperatures will be on the rise for at least the beginning of the week. Warm southern air will move into our area, causing temperatures to climb up through the lower 60s, and skies will be full of sunshine! Tuesday you should expect to have breezy conditions throughout the day as our next low pressure system approaches. During the day on Thursday, there will be heavy rain at times and the possibility of a thunderstorm or two during the day. Once all is said and done we can expect around 0.5 in. of rain. Overnight on Thursday temperatures will drop as a cold front associated with the low pressure system moves through, and with that there is a 30% chance of snow, but no accumulation is expected. High temperatures will drop significantly on Friday, but will rebound a bit for the weekend. For your weather forecast and weather update, follow us on Twitter @NLIWeather
