Vocaloid fans in the Midwest now have the opportunity to see the popular blue-haired artist close to home and “in person.” Hatsune Miku, a Crypton Vocaloid, will be performing in Chicago on May 25.
This concert is just one of eight in the Hatsune Miku Expo North America 2016 tour. Announced last year, the tour has just been extended to accommodate for a couple more shows. According to the expo’s website, this is “Hatsune Miku’s biggest tour yet, in eight cities across three countries in North America.” Miku will be performing in other locations across the United States, including Seattle, New York, Toronto, Mexico City, and Los Angeles.
Tickets for the Chicago performance will go on sale on February 12 at 11 AM CST (12 PM EST). For more information on tickets and performances, go to the official concert website.
