This morning Insomniac Games, the minds behind such classics as Ratchet & Clank and Spyro, announced their latest project titled Song of the Deep. The game is described to be a "Metroidvania-style" action-adventure that follows a young girl named Merryn and her quest to find her missing father.
The reveal trailer showcases a few of the many beautifully designed environments players will explore during their time with game, ranging from jellyfish-filled shipwrecks to the lair of a gigantic sea spider. There will also be a mix of submarine based combat and moments where Merryn will exit her sub to explore the diverse terrain.
You can expect to get your hands on Song of the Deep this summer for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
