'Five Nights at Freddy's World' opening soon

The long-awaited and adorable spin-off to the beloved horror franchise Five Nights at Freddy’s has now gotten an official release date. Scott Cawthon, the tight-lipped mind behind it all, posted a Steam announcement declaring February 19th as the official PC release date, with Android and iPhone releases in the coming weeks after that.

He mentioned that this announcement also came with some bad news alongside the good news:

“My old faithful computer (which I used to make FNaF 1-4) finally died the other day. I had all of my work on FNaF World backed up, of course, but it's still quite a delay to get a new machine and reconfigure software, etc. I hope to be back up and running soon!”

Scott and his animatronics have been on a roll ever since the announcement of FNAF World in last October. In December, a novel co-written by Cawthon and Kira Breed-Wrisley came out to much critical acclaim and praise (if the Amazon customer reviews are anything to be trusted). Hopefully, the content continues to flow, despite the already impressive repertoire that Cawthon has released.
