Ever since the <a href="http://www.wired.com/2015/11/playstation-2-emulation-coming-to-ps4-sony-confirms/">announcement</a> of Sony’s PlayStation 4 (PS4) developing backwards compatibility emulation for PlayStation 2 (PS2) games, PS4 owners waited in anticipation to see which games would and wouldn’t be in development for porting. And then on December 9, 2015, Sony’s International Software Development and SpecOps head Dave Thach told gamers to send in their suggestions on Twitter at #ps2ps4.

Since then, suggestions have been flying in, ranging from <em>TimeSplitters, </em>the Tekken franchise or even classic Star Wars games. And with the <a href="http://www.gamespot.com/articles/ps4-sales-hit-30-million-worldwide/1100-6432589/">recent benchmark of 30 million units</a> sold for the console, PlayStation president Andrew House is on record saying that, <em>“We remain well ahead of the PlayStation 2 at the same point in its lifecycle…"</em>
<em><a href="http://blog.eu.playstation.com/2015/12/15/new-on-playstation-store-assassins-creed-syndicate-dlc-parappa-the-rapper-2-more/">PaRappa the Rappa 2</a></em> has also recently been released through the emulation system, with more to come as Sony announces and fans clamor for it.
