After months of development and a troubled production, Fullbright has announced that Gone Home will be making it's console debut in 2016. Fulbright developer Steve Gaynor made the announcement today that the game will see release on PS4 and Xbox One on January 12.

Gaynor stated that the game will be a "PC perfect port" and will be "reengineered for Playstation and Xbox." The game has also been upgraded from Unity 4 to Unity 5 and will include over ninety minutes of behind the scenes developer commentary.

When asked if the reports of a Wii U version of the game from earlier this year were true, Gaynor replied,

Gone Home isn't the only game Fullbright will be releasing in 2016. The team is also working on Tacoma, which will be released later next year for the PC and Xbox One.
