MUNCIE, IN (NewsLink Indiana) - Rain showers continue to stick around for the remainder of Monday evening. Accumulations of .10-.25" of rain are possible from the system. Once the showers move out of the area, sunny skies will return for the day Tuesday. The morning, Tuesday, will be a chilly start with temperatures in the upper 30's and lower 40's.Tuesday's high will reach 56 degrees. The next chance of precipitation returns to the forecast for Wednesday. Wednesday will start nice but late into the evening into the early parts of the day Thursday is when we will see the greatest chance for thunderstorms. There is a slight risk for severe weather for Wednesday with the primary threat being gusty winds. After the systems pushes through on Thursday, breezy and clear conditions return for Friday and Saturday. Sunny skies then will dominant the forecast for the remainder of the week and into the weekend.
