For gamers wanting more maps for Halo 5, your wish is about to come true sooner rather than later. Four maps were revealed in this month’s Sneak Peak preview on Halo Waypoint that will be used for the upcoming Big Team Battle multiplayer playlist. The new maps are all inspired by fan favorite battlegrounds from previous Halo entries and were created entirely through the yet to be released Forge feature.
343 Industries has yet to comment on whether these will be included in the total for the 15 free DLC maps previously promised.
Halo fans can expect the following new maps later this month:
Deadlock, inspired by Standoff.
Basin, inspired by Blood Gulch.
Guillotine, inspired by Headlong.
Recurve, inspired by Longbow.
