Contra fans who own a Wii U now have a reason to celebrate, as Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX has been added to the Wii U Virtual Console. The game is the Game Boy Advance port of Contra III: The Alien Wars and features new levels and graphics from the original Super Nintendo offering. Some features were cut from the new edition, including the ability to dual-wield and the overhead levels.
The original Super Nintendo version of the game is already available for the Virtual Console, but more options for games are never a bad thing. Players can purchase Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX for $7.99.
