For many years, Team Fortress 2 has pushed out some form of content for the spooky month of October. Well, Valve is back at it again with an entire update this time. Dubbed ‘The INVASION Update’, this update is chock loaded with things to satisfy your spooky needs.
Along with a sweet new animation, there are four weapon reskins, three new maps accompanied by a nifty reskin of the map 2Fort, an Invasion Pass which allows you to track your total player kills during the event, a new crate type, a new taunt and 16 new cosmetic items for all of your hat collecting needs. The crates will contain rare items, weapons, and Unusual effects that are just for this update. They require an Invasion Community Update Key to open. All proceeds from the keys are shared between Valve and the Invasion Community Update Team, and all proceeds from Invasion Passes go directly to the Invasion Community Update Team.
