October is observed nationally as Domestic Violence Awareness month. The Office of Victim Services at Ball State is using this month to honor survivors and to educate students.

Allison Wynbissinger is the victim advocate for the OVS; she and her staff have organized events to raise awareness.

"The office of victim services and peer victim advocacy team are offering a variety of active and passive programs," Wynbissinger said.
