In the post, Square Enix and Eldos-Montréal stated that they have heard the internet feedback and have decided to cancel the program. They thought that this would be a solution for splitting up regional incentives but “quickly noticed that this approach created even more frustration than before,” and have ended the project.
Players that pre-order Deus Ex: Mankind Divided or purchase the Day 1 edition will now receive all of the incentive content. The early release date bonus has been removed and the game will stay on the original launch day. People who have already pre-ordered will have the new changes applied to their purchase.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided releases on February 23, 2016.
