Potential release date for No Man’s Sky at New Yorker Festival

<p><br />Hello Games is expected to release <em>No Man’s Sky</em> in late 2015 or early 2016.</p>

An exclusive look into the upcoming adventure/exploration game No Man’s Sky will be shown at the New Yorker Festival. Many of the game’s followers wonder if there is finally a release date in sight.

The launch date for No Man’s Sky has been pushed back several times during production. While it had initially been slated for a specific release on the PlayStation 4 platform, creator and project leader Sean Murray stated at E3 2014 that a timed release would not be possible.

Due to the game’s open world nature, according to Murray, it was impossible to complete only one section at a time. No Man's Sky's various interconnected systems would each need to advance in tandem with each other. This made for slow, but methodical, production.
